I am a Digital Learning and Teaching Consultant for online learning within Digital Learning and Teaching (DLaT), part of the Centre for Academic Innovation and Teaching Excellence (CAITE). I joined DLaT, formally know as CELT, in April 2017, however, I have been working at De Montfort University for over twenty-five years, previously with distance-learning students in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

I enjoy designing e-learning resources and I have collaborated on many projects in the development of online training/courses. My interests include enhanced learning and technology, distance and online learning, and creative technologies.

I help to develop and deliver staff development workshops on the pedagogical use of core technology tools. My interests include enhanced learning and technology, distance and online learning, and creative technologies.

I have a Masters of Arts in Online and Distance Education with the Open University. I also hold a Masters of Arts in Creative Technologies, which is a transdisciplinary course that includes the arts, humanities, technology and science disciplines.

Since 2018, I have been an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and I am also an associate member of the Association of Learning Technology (ALT).
