For the attention of staff using lecture theatres.
Wireless lapel microphones are available in lecture theatres via a lockable box built into the lecterns.
Inside the lockable box there is a charging unit within which the lapel microphone should be firmly pushed into, for it to charge at the end of the session. The microphones will only work with their respective rooms, so please turn them off, dock them and lock the cabinet before you leave.
Once the microphones are turned on they will automatically feed into the default audio device in DMU Replay, as well as the voice amplification in the lecture theatre.
Keys can be borrowed from the Hawthorn Help Zone in Hawthorn (lower ground floor opposite Portland) open from 8.30am until 2pm or the Coursework Collection Zone in Edith Murphy – ground floor open from 8.30 until 4pm.
