Embedding self-created websites into Blackboard can be a useful way of developing learning objects and presenting and organising certain kinds of information that cannot be created using Blackboard tools alone.

The process involves creating the website externally to Blackboard – utilising specialised web authoring software – and then importing all of the files that have been used to create the website into Blackboard.

Level of digital capability required: Advanced

To see a working example of a basic website used in Blackboard you can self enrol on the CELT Blackboard Content Development Community shell (this is only available to DMU Staff)
