How to edit digital images and photos for Mac

For basic image editing:

The Preview application is a standard install on Macs, and provides basic image editing techniques. The Preview software application can be found in the Applications folder on your Mac.

The Photo application is a standard install on Macs and provides basic photo editing techniques. The Photo software application can be found in the Applications folder on your Mac.

For advanced image and photo editing:

If you require more advanced image editing techniques and/or the capability to draw/create graphics; DMU provides staff with Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Fireworks software. To install these software packages contact ITMS (ext. 6050).
