1. From the Course Tools menu select Chat

2. Click New Chat

3. Give the Chat session a title. Choose if it’s a chat for the whole module (general) or for a selected group (personal). Add a description about the chat. Click Create.

The session will be added to the list. Click on the session to join the chat.
