I have been a member of CELT since April 2017; however, I have been working with distance learning students at De Montfort University for over twenty years. The Distance Learning team were previously based in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, but now as part of CELT, we are able to support all faculties with distance learning.

I enjoy designing e-learning resources and I have collaborated on many projects in the development of online training/courses.

My interests include:

  • Enhanced learning and technology
  • Distance and online learning
  • Creative technologies

I have a Masters of Arts in Online and Distance Education with the Open University. I also hold an MA in Creative Technologies, which is a transdisciplinary course that includes the arts, humanities, and technology and science disciplines.

I have recently applied for Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

Since joining CELT, I have contributed to the following conference paper:

Peña-Fernández A., Sgamma T., Young C., Randles MJ., Del Águila C., Hurtado C., Evans MD., Potiwat N., Izquierdo F., Peña MA., Coope J., Armstrong M.,  Bhambra A.
