I’ve been involved in ELT part-time at DMU since 2011 and was delighted to join the CELT team in Library and Learning Services (having previously worked in professional  library roles e.g. Librarian for UNICEF UK Committee, London and Assistant Librarian at the University of Leeds). My IT and technical background includes training as an electrical engineer at Imperial College, London and the BBC Designs Department.

I currently teach on the MSc Energy and Sustainable Development, as Deputy Module Leader for the ‘Leading Change for Sustainability’ module and  previously taught extensively on the MSc Medical Leadership, Education and Research. I was Research Fellow on a £200K MRC, AHRC and GCRF mental health research project during 2017-2019. In 2020, I was awarded a 3-year DMU Teacher Fellowship; I support, mentor and assess for DMU’s Professional Recognition Scheme for HEA fellowship.
